The solar roofs programme

The solar roofs programme “Ndelle” is part of the worldwide “dena Solar Roofs Programme for the opening up of new foreign markets” with which the Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) supports German solar energy enterprises with opening up new foreign markets. Since 2004 solarthermic- and photovoltaic-systems have been installed public-oriented and promotionally effectively on German foreign schools or other institutions in attractive target countries and accompanied extensively by activities in sectors of PR, marketing and training. These pilot projects, which are supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (Bundesminiterium für Wirtschaft und Technologie, BMWi), aim at demonstrating the quality of German products in the sector of Renewable Energies. www.exportinitiative.de/solardachprogramm.
